The Easy-to-Understand Math Teacher

👩‍🏫 I'm like your child in many ways... I have felt confused and lost when learning math. Often, I found myself puzzled by the overly complicated explanations given by teachers. My classmates saw how quickly I understood the patterns and moved on to the next page, even before the teacher finished explaining.

Discovering My Strength 💡

Instead of asking the teacher for help, my classmates came to me. I realized that I had a unique strength: I could break down complex math concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I discovered that using relatable, daily life examples made math much more accessible and less confusing.

Starting My Teaching Journey 🌟

The pandemic led me to start teaching math. It was my chance to provide the learning experience I WISH I had when I was in school. I became FRUSTRATED that schools didn't teach math in a way that made it easy to understand or remember. So, I learned from professionals, took courses, and did LOTS of experimenting to really figure it out.

As a math teacher (from Texas!), my philosophy is all about giving your child simple, clear explanations, the mindset, and the practical knowledge that will actually get them where THEY WANT to go.
